Mrs. Karen Ayers Harvey

Mrs. Karen Ayers Harvey, age 63 of Wolf Pit Road, Eastanollee passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021 at the Stephens County Hospital.

 

A daughter of Vera Mae Turner Ayers and the late John Ayers, she was born November 28, 1957 in Stephens County, Georgia where she lived all her life. She was retired from Stephens County Hospital and was a member of Eastanollee Baptist Church. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Harvey and by a step-son, Dennis Harvey.

 

Survivors include her mother, Vera Mae Turner Ayers of Thomasville, North Carolina; daughter, Pamela Poole of Eastanollee; two grandchildren, Dylan and Conner; two brothers, Johnny Ayers of Lenoir City, Tennessee and Keith Ayers of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; sister, Gladys Mitchell of Thomasville, North Carolina; sister-in-law, Barbara Crunkleton of Eastanollee; a number of nieces and nephews.

 

Graveside services will be Wednesday, January 27, 2021, 2 O’clock p.m. at the Eastanollee Baptist Church Cemetery with The Reverend Ricky McFarlin officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Tm Nations, Bradley Crunkleton, John Bohannon, Daniel Hambrick, Gene Crowe and Michael Brown. Grandsons Dylan and Conner will serve as honorary pallbearers.

 

The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until time to leave for the graveside. Due to the health and well-being of our community, social distancing must be observed. Interment will follow in the Eastanollee Baptist Church Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Karen Ayers Harvey.
