A daughter of the late Thomas E. Donofry and Josephine Donofry, she was born July 18,1928 in Wyndmoor, Pennsylvania.  She was the wife of the late John D. Webb and spent the last fifty years of her life in Toccoa.

June joined the Marine Corps Reserve in 1949 and was activated in 1951 and 1952 during the Korean War, where she attained the rank of Sergeant.  It was during this period she met and married her husband, John D. Webb in 1950.  Her loving marriage lasted 65 years until his passing in 2015.

She was very active in the Roman Catholic Church where she played the organ for forty years at seven different parishes.  She was a regular, weekly attendee of mass up until the last few years of her life.

Her greatest love in her life was her faith in God, her family and country.  She also loved playing bridge and cherished the friendships she made with the bridge groups in Toccoa and Lavonia.  She was so grateful for all the people at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

The last years of her life were made happy by her family, neighbors and church family.  By the grace of God, she was blessed with the relationships she had with her caregivers, Debbie Adams and Amy Kimbrell who became part of her family.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Denise Webb Bigham and brother, Thomas E. Donofry, Jr.

Survivors include her two sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff and Kaymel Webb of Toccoa and Doug and Eileen Webb of Flourtown, Pennsylvania; son-in-law, Ben Bigham (Marylee) of St. Peters, Missouri; five grandchildren, Josh Bigham (Debbie) of St. Peters, Missouri, Jenny Lowrey (Eric) of St. Charles, Missouri, Shannon Unger (Shem) of Matthews, North Carolina, Katie Rauton (George) of Edgefield, South Carolina, Chris Murley (Gina) of Carnesville, Georgia; ten great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Marc Coan and the Staff of Toccoa Amedisys Hospice for the loving care they gave to our mother.
