Mrs. JoAnn Mitchell Pritchett

Mrs. JoAnn Mitchell Pritchett, age 80 of Friendship Church Road, Cleveland passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

A daughter of the late George Edward Mitchell and Mildred Mosley Mitchell, she was born July 25, 1940 in Stephens County, Georgia where she lived most of her life and the last ten years in Cornelia. She was employed with Piedmont Automotive and later worked with Wal-Mart and Fieldale.  She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her daughter, Lucinda “Mickey” Newsom and Ricky Bennett of Cornelia; son and daughter-in-law, Edward and Martha Pitts of Cleveland; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.  She was the last member of her immediate family.

No visitation or services are planned.
