Mrs. Christine Sheriff Mullinix

Mrs. Christine Sheriff Mullinix, of Toccoa, after a long fight with Covid-19, went to her Heavenly resting place at age 75 on Thursday, September 2, 2021.

Born October 10, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Gaines Willie and Lottie Pressley Sheriff.

Many will remember her for her 52 years owning and operating Chris’ Salon of Beauty.  Flowers brought her great joy and she enjoyed her membership in Horti-floral Garden Club.  She was a majorette of Stephens County High School’s graduating class of 1963.  Her children and grandchildren are extremely blessed to have had a mother that exemplified the true role of being a Momma.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Mr. J. T. Mullinix of the home; daughter, Tracy Presley of Martin; son and daughter-in-law, Clay and Lawanda Mullinix of Toccoa; daughter and son-in-law, Brandi and 1st Sgt Ryan Rogers of Chesapeake, VA; grandchildren, Lea Presley, Lane Presley, Mason Mullinix, Houston Mullinix, Cruz Mullinix, Julia Rogers, and James Rogers; siblings, Leonard Sheriff, Eleanor Fain, Betty Stowe, Nellie Herron, and Hazel Adams.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Lois Finley.

Due to community health, the family will have a private graveside service.
