Mrs. Charlotte Ann Collins Turner

Mrs. Charlotte Ann Collins Turner, age 66, of Royston, GA, passed away Friday, April 30, 2021 at her daughters home in Carnesville.

Born May 17, 1954 in Toccoa, she was the daughter of the late Mose and Agnes Faye Ward Collins.  She was of the Baptist Faith and was employed with Auto Zone prior to her illness.

Family members include her daughter and son-in-law, Tracey and Barry Barnes of Carnesville; sons and a daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Vanessa Stamps of Toccoa and Andy Stamps of Royston; step-son, Tommy Turner of Vidalia, GA; step-daughter and her husband, Cheryl and David Griffin of Lanett, AL; grandchildren, Heather Maynard, Austin Collins, Levi Stamps, and Cori Hollifield; great-grandchildren, Addilyn Reeve, Ashlyn Reeve, Emma Collins, Harley Collins, Carson Stamps, and Cooper Stamps; several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry and Louise Collins and Kenny Collins of Toccoa, Tim Collins of Bowersville, and Rick and Betty Collins of Banks County; sister, Pat Garner of Toccoa; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilkes Anderson Turner; a sister, Jackie Wood; a brother, Sam Collins; sister-in-law, Frances Collins.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 6pm – 8pm Saturday, May 1, 2021.

Funeral services will be held at three o’clock Sunday, May 2, 2021 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with the Rev. Joey Stewart and Dr. Tommy Childress officiating.

Burial will follow at Roselane Cemetery.

 

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Cori Hollifield, Austin Collins, Levi Stamps, Andy Stamp, Jason Garner, and Chris Collins.

Flowers are optional.  Those desiring may make memorial donations to the church or charity of your choice.

 

Due to the conditions concerning the health and well-being of our community, social distancing will be observed.  Those attending the service are encouraged to wear a mask.
