Mrs. Betty Jean Miller Ward
Mrs. Betty Jean Miller Ward, age 89, of Toccoa, passed away Monday, November 29, 2021 at her home.
Born October 27, 1932 in Hartford, KY, she was the daughter of the late Dewell Marlow and Loyce Wilson Miller.
She was of the Baptist Faith and was retired from Gwinnett Medical Center. Before her retirement, she also worked for various hospitals and doctor’s offices.
Family members include her daughter, Karen Jean Ward of Toccoa; son, Karroll Marlow Ward of Toccoa; and a grandson, Dustin Marlow Ward, of Toccoa.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jackie Dean “Jack” Ward.
The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 6 pm – 8 pm on Friday, December 3, 2021.
The family will receive friends at Miller-Schapmire Funeral Home in Hartford, KY from 12pm until service hour on Wednesday, December 8, 2021.
Funeral Service will be held December 8, 2021 at Miller-Schapmire Funeral Home in Hartford, KY.
Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Hartford, KY.
