Mrs. Annie Kathryn Turner Stancil

Mrs. Annie Kathryn Turner Stancil, age 87 of Brookhaven Circle, Toccoa, Ga. passed away Saturday, January 14, 2023 at the home of her granddaughter.

 

A daughter of the late John Harrison and Ilone Elrod Turner, she was born June 13, 1935 in Stephens County, Georgia where she lived her entire life.  She retired from Troup’s Studio after 44 years of service, She was a member of Mullins Ford Baptist Church, she was preceded in death by her brother Carl Turner and her husband Harry Waymon Stancil who passed away in 1993.

 

Survivors include her son Wayne and (April) Stancil of Martin, two grandchildren Graysen Martin and Bradley Cleveland, sister: Betty and (James) Whiten of Toccoa, brother-in-law Frank Stancil of Toccoa, a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

 

Graveside services will be held 2PM, Monday, January 16, 2023 at the Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Roger Elrod officiating.

 

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in her memory to the Mullins Ford Baptist Church.

 

Interment will be in the Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of arrangements for Mrs. Kathryn Stancil.
