Mr. Tommy Clenton Jamison

Mr. Tommy Clenton Jamison, age 75, of Toccoa, passed away Thursday, August 6, 2020.

 

Born January 27, 1945 in Stephens County, he was the son of the late Claude and Bertie Jamison.

 

Tommy had a heart of gold and took care of his wife of 48 years and his girls. He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather.  Tommy will be greatly missed.

 

Family members include his wife, Joyce Pulliam Jamison; daughters and sons-in-law, Tonya and Shane Hopper, Jodi and Matt Plaisted, and Laci and Jack Carlson; grandchildren, Hunter Plaisted, Emma Hopper, Josie Plasited, Ca’Rin Carlson, and Jack Carlson; sister, Bette Jamison Parker; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Richard and Linda Pulliam and Barry and Renee Pulliam; and several nieces and nephews.

 

He was preceded in death by his sister, Claudine Jamison Bell and by his brother, Jimmy Jamison.

 

Graveside services will be held at three o’clock Sunday, August 9, 2020 at Stephens Memorial Gardens with Pastor Don Scott officiating.  Burial will follow.

 

Shane Hopper, Matt Plaisted, Jack Carlson, Richard Pulliam, Barry Pulliam, Josh Parker, and Hunter Plaisted will serve as pallbearers.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Gateway Community Chapel, 2600 Hwy 17 Alternate, Toccoa, GA 30577.

 

The family will not be having a formal visitation.  Family and friends are welcome to attend the graveside service on Sunday.

Due to the conditions concerning the health and well-being of our community, social distancing will be observed.
