Mr. Leon L. Addison
Mr. Leon L. Addison, age 84, of Greenville, SC, formerly of Toccoa, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2022.
Leon was born September 27, 1938 in Franklin County, Georgia to Mildred Slater Addison and James Wilborn Addison.
Leon and his wife lived in Toccoa, GA before moving to Greenville, SC where he worked as an HR manager at Hollingsworth for 27 years. Leon loved gardening, camping, and going to the beach, but he loved his family more than anything. Leon was a proud member of the Shriners. He served as the Chaplain of the Empire Masonic Lodge and Secretary of the Golden Strip Shrine Cub.
Leon is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years Katherine Addison; his son James Dennis Addison (Noa); and his son Randy Todd Addison; his sister Linda A. Elrod (Perry) and his granddaughter Dalayna Marie Addison.
Leon was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service for Leon will be held Monday, October 3, 2022 at 11:00 am at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Century Drive, 311 Century Drive, Greenville, SC 29607, with a visitation starting aty 10:00 am.
