Mr. Keaton Bryce Thompson, Sr.

Mr. Keaton Bryce Thompson, Sr., age 34, of Martin, GA, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Emory Hospital.

Born December 1, 1988 in Toccoa, he was the son of Stephen Thompson and the late Karen Weaver Thompson.  Keaton was a graduate of SCHS and went on to play football at Wofford College where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science.  He was Chief Operating Officer for Wilcorp Environmental Solutions and was of the Baptist Faith.

Family members include his wife, Hannah Adams Thompson; son Keaton Bryce Thompson, Jr.; father and step-mother, Stephen and Wanda Thompson of Eastanollee; sister and brother-in-law, Kristen and Andrew Stamey of Jefferson; nephews, Jase Stamey and Finn Stamey; niece, Grey Stamey; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Barry and Melinda Adams; sister-in-law, Sarah Elizabeth Adams; grandmother, Sharon Thompson; grandfather, Kenneth Weaver; his dog, June; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 5 pm until 8 pm Tuesday, December 20, 2022.

A service to Celebrate Keaton’s Life will be held at three o’clock Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at the Tugaloo Center at Stephens County High School with the Rev. Jerrell Beatty, the Rev. Jeffrey Herron, and the Rev. Sharon Thompson officiating.

The family will have a private burial at Roselane Cemetery at a later date.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jase Stamey, Finn Stamey, Spencer Thompson, Michael Thompson, Andrew Stamey, Austin Thompson, and Justin Thompson.

Flowers are optional.  Those desiring may make memorial donations to the Outdoor Dream Foundation (outdoordream.org.)
