Mr. Glenn Thomas Farmer

Mr. Glenn Thomas Farmer, age 90, of Eastanollee, passed away Monday, January 10, 2022 at his home.

Born January 5, 1932 in Clarke County, GA, he was the son of the late Henry Thomas and Piccola Gardner Farmer.  He was a member of Tom’s Creek Baptist Church and was retired from Coats and Clark.  Glenn was a United States Navy Veteran serving in Korea.

Family members include his wife, Margaret Whitlock Farmer; daughters and son-in-law, Donna J. York and Tim of Eastanollee and Deborah Heaton of Eastanollee; son and daughter-in-law, Jason Sullens and Sandy of Toccoa; grandchildren, Buffy Cobb and Chad, Tlicia Jones, Jessica Sullens, Brian Pace, James York, and Hagen Reed; great-grandchildren, Bryson Cobb, Kelsie Cobb, Kristen Anderson, Justin Wilson, Bailee Jones, Natalie Jones, Micah Jones, and Elijah Jones; 8 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Farmer; his daughter, Delores Bonnie Whitlock; grandchildren, Vince Armour, and Kristy Fain.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 1pm until 3pm Wednesday, January 12, 2022 and from 10 am until the service on Thursday.

Funeral services will be held at eleven o’clock Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Whitlock Mortuary with the Rev. Jerrell Beatty officiating.

Burial will follow at Roselane Cemetery with the Rev. Wayne Marcus officiating at the graveside service.  Military Honors will be provided by the United States Navy and V. F. W. Post 4346.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Gideon’s.
