Mr. Donald Floyd Collins

Born October 15, 1944 in Toccoa, he was a son of the late Floyd Terrell and Allean Davis Collins.

Donald was a graduate of Stephens County High School and Clemson University with a degree in Engineering. He received a Master Degree from Central Wesleyan College in Central, SC. He was also a member of the Gateway Amateur Radio Club. Donald was retired from American Yard Products and was a member of Level Grove Baptist Church in Cornelia, GA.

Family members include his wife of 51 years, Tilitha Brown Collins; sisters and brothers-in-law, Elmo and Frank Andrews of Toccoa, Opal and Omer Coker of Alto, and Linda Wood of Eastanollee; nieces and nephews, Stan Thomason, Scot Thomason, Lisa Frost, Lauren Brown, Brent Wood and Kippy BURNS.   He was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Thomas B. Brown.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 1pm until 1:45 pm on Saturday,
January 7, 2023.

Graveside services will be held at two o’clock Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Rev. David Terrell officiating.

Burial will follow.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Stan Thomason, Scot Thomason, Ward Frost, Drew Burns, Frank Andrews, and Omer Coker.
