Mr. David Rogers Mack

Mr. David Rogers Mack, age 72 of Jonathan Drive, Toccoa passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at Piedmont Rockdale Hospital, Conyers, Georgia.

A son of the late Hayes Jack, Sr. and Josephine Gideon Mack, he was born July 3, 1951 in Hart County, Georgia having lived all his life in Stephens County.  He was a 1969 graduate of Stephens County High School, a Veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from Coats and Clark with 40 years of service.  He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.  He enjoyed being outdoors, especially doing yard work and he loved his animals.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Marie Allen Mack and by three brothers, Bobby Ray Mack, Sr., Hayes Mack, Jr. and Billy Spratton.

Survivors include his son, Jonathan Mack (Rashanda) of Covington, Georgia, David Mack (Kendra) of Snellville, Georgia, Richard Wikstrom of Toccoa, Georgia and Christopher Wikstrom of North Carolina; one daughter, Tina Margaret Smith of New York; grandchildren, Jonathan Trey Mack, Shayla Mack and Aneesa Mack and an additional seven grandchildren; brothers, Larry Mack of Royston, Georgia and Jerry Mack of Toccoa, Georgia; sisters, Betty Rainey of Royston, Georgia, Goldie Marks of Toccoa, Georgia, Marjorie Boyce of Commerce, Georgia, Linda Mack of Toccoa, Georgia, Jacqueline Manley of Martin, Georgia and Louise Dewberry of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania; a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday, December 23, 2023, 11 a.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with Minister Marjorie Boyce and The Reverend Roy Bainey officiating.  Family and friends will serve as pallbearers and flower bearers.

The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Friday from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.  Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.

Interment will follow in the Stephens Memorial Gardens with Military Honors by the U.S. Army Honor Guard. Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements for Mr. David Rogers Mack.
