Mr. Coleman “Buss” Craig Harbert

Mr. Coleman “Buss” Craig Harbert, age 90 of Harbert Valley Road, Toccoa went home to be with our Lord on Tuesday, February 15, 2022.

A son of the late William Lowry Harbert and Mattie Lou McCurley Harbert, he was born April 25, 1931 in Stephens County, Georgia having lived in the Big Smith Community of Toccoa all his life, lending help to everyone in the community.  He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean War.  He was a member of Tugalo Baptist Church.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four siblings, Lenora Dolly Harbert, Winfred Dennis Harbert, Willie Margie Harbert and Bruce Harbert.

Survivors include his wife of the home, Brenda Scott Harbert; son and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Pamela Noll of Franklin, North Carolina; brother and sister-in-law, Jones and Kathy Harbert of Toccoa and their children, Dathan Harbert and Jodie Fulbright; sister, Virginia Duke of Toccoa and her children, Donnie Duke, Bryon Duke and Lori Duke McAvoy; nieces, Melanie Burton and Ashley Harbert (Bruce’s children); a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be Friday, February 18, 2022, 4 o’clock p.m. at Tugalo Baptist Church Cemetery with The Reverend Harris Pressley officiating.  The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Donnie Duke, Bryon Duke, Dathan Harbert, Scottie Fulbright, Ashley Harbert and Scott Burton.

The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Friday from 2 p.m. until time to leave for the graveside.  Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.

Interment will follow in the Tugalo Baptist Church Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Coleman “Buss” Harbert.
