Mr. Barak Thomas Graves, III

Mr. Barak Thomas Graves, III, age 76, of Martin, GA, passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2022.

Born December 25, 1945 in Frederick, Maryland, he was a son of the late Joseph Wallace and Mildred Leah Parker Graves.

He was a United States Navy Veteran and later in his life worked for the United States Marine Corps as a bus driver.  Mr. Graves was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.

Family members include his wife, Patricia Cox Graves of the home; son, Timothy Graves; step-children, Patti (Liz) Bruneau of Toccoa, Charles W. Cox, Jr. of Oregon, Tami-Leigh Moore of Michigan, William (Shorty) Cox of Kentucky, Nicci Batson of Toccoa, Jon Cox of South Carolina, Mark Cox of Toccoa, and Tiffany Willis of Toccoa; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sisters, Nancy and Susan Graves and Jaqueline Singleton.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Graves.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 2pm – 3pm on Sunday, March 6, 2022.

A memorial service will be held at three o’clock, Sunday, March 6, 2022 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with the Rev. Andy Childs and the Rev. Fred Lodge officiating.
