Movie at Emory Johnson Park moved to March 26

As WNEG News reported earlier this week, the movie on the lawn at Emory Johnson Park has been postponed.

It was originally scheduled to be held tonight; however, due to inclement weather, the movie will now be held on March 26, at 7 p.m. at Emory Johnson Park.

According to organizer KaDeja Scott, this is a community event aimed to meet the needs of local youth.

She says that the youth complain that there is never anything for them to do here locally, and that this event will fill that need.

On Saturday, March 26, at 7 p.m. they will be screening Space Jam: A New Legacy at Emory Johnson Park.

Scott says there is no cost to see the movie; but they will be selling movie snack packs for $5.

She says this will be a safe environment with law enforcement on scene to ensure that everyone has a fun, safe time.

Again, on Saturday, March 26, at 7 p.m. come enjoy a family-friendly movie at Emory Johnson Park.
