More users needed for Stephens County Schools to use Purposity App

WNEG News told you earlier about the new platform Stephens County Schools are using to meet the needs of students; however, before the school system can post its needs, there must be at least 350 participants signed up in Stephens County.

According to Stephens County School Deputy Superintendent Dr. Daniel Oldham, the system has joined Purposity, a new app that allows donors to fulfil the needs for students anonymously.

Purposity was created from the belief that humanity finds purpose through generosity.

Oldham says by using this platform, school systems are able to notify the community of specific needs in the area.

The Stephens County Board of Education encourages the community to participate by downloading the Purposity App.

Currently, there are students in Stephens County who have needs; however, without the required 350 users, those students’ needs will go unfulfilled.

The Purposity app is available to download for free in the Apple App Store and Android Market Place.
