Markham and Bullard Named December “Spirit of Stephens” Award Winners

During the December 13, 2023, Stephens County Board of Education meeting, Claudia Markham and Jodi Bullard were named the December “Spirit of Stephens” award winners. 

Markham serves as a teacher at Toccoa Elementary School, and Bullard is a paraprofessional at Liberty Elementary School.

Each month during the school year, the Stephens County School System honors employees with this award. Nominations are accepted from employees and to be eligible, employees must demonstrate a strong commitment to student success; encourage teamwork and assist other staff members; inspire others with a positive outlook and attitude; and perform job responsibilities consistently and professionally. The award is sponsored by Peach State Federal Credit Union 

School Superintendent Dr. Connie Franklin stated, “We are pleased to honor Claudia Markham and Jodi Bullard for their commitment to student success with the ‘Spirit of Stephens’ award for December. They represent the compassionate spirit of our schools and community.”
