Man Found Guilty of Incest and Child Molestation

A Stephens County man has been convicted of incest and child molestation.

Kevin Wayne Ford, 37, was convicted of incest and child molestation following a two-day trial in the Superior Court of Stephens County this past Wednesday and Thursday.

The trial was held before Chan Caudell, Judge of the Mountain Judicial Circuit. The State of Georgia was represented by Chief Assistant District Attorney Suzanne Boykin, along with Assistant District Attorney Sarah Carbo.

The case was handled by the Toccoa Police Department and the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office. They were assisted by Ruthie Zoellner of Faith’s Powerhouse, the Child Advocacy Center serving Stephens, Rabun, and Habersham Counties.

Ford is scheduled to be sentenced on December 15, 2021.
