Main Street Toccoa’s annual Children Costume Parade has been moved to the Historic Ritz Theatre

Due to the threat of rain Main Street Toccoa’s annual Children Costume Parade has been moved to the Historic Ritz Theatre.

The event will begin at 10 a.m. as planned; however, instead of lining Doyle Street, businesses will line the aisles at the Ritz Theatre while the children walk down the aisles and receive candy.

For the costume contest, children in homemade costumes that want to be judged will walk on the stage before heading back down the aisles to receive more candy.

Main Street Manager Christian Hamilton says any business wanting to participate, need to call him in advance at 706-898-5777.

All businesses participating are asked to arrive at the Ritz Theatre between 9:00 and 9:30 a.m. to set up.

Again, the annual Children Costume Parade has been moved to the Historic Ritz Theatre on Thursday, October 31, at 10 a.m.

For questions or additional information contact Hamilton by calling 706-898-5777.
