Local businesses gaining state and national attention

A number of local businesses are gaining state and national attention in the past weeks, as Toccoa/Stephens County businesses earn awards, announce industry milestones, and are nominated for their top business status in several recognized ranking platforms.

Simmons-Bond Inn Bed and Breakfast, located at 74 West Tugalo Street, a restored 1903 home on the National Register of Historic Places owned by Bill and Bella Younquist, has been named the 2023 Best Victorian B&B in Northeast Georgia by LUXlife Magazine. Visit lux-review.com/awards. 

Living Room Roasters, located at 25 Doyle Street, uses coffee beans curated from across the world through ethical farming to roast small batch coffee, all done here locally. Toccoa-Stephens County Chamber of Commerce President Julie Paysen said that it is good to see local businesses gaining the recognition they deserve.
