Little Change in Latest Area Covid-19 Report

There was very little change since Sunday in the latest Covid-19 report for Stephens County and the surrounding area.

The Georgia Department of Public Health is now reporting a total of 1,436 positive cases of Covid-19 and still 46 deaths in Stephens County since the beginning of the global pandemic.

The latest report was released Monday afternoon.

The latest report has Habersham County still with 77 deaths and a total of 2,185 positive cases of the virus.

In other neighboring counties, Hart County is still reporting 20 deaths and now 698 cases, Franklin County is still  reporting 19 deaths and now 1,120 positive cases, Rabun County is still  reporting 11 deaths and now 548 cases, and Banks County is still reporting 11 deaths, and now 704 cases.

The Department of Public Health is now reporting a total of 406,220 cases around the state, of those, 34,083 have been hospitalized, and 8,644 have died from complications of the virus.
