Law enforcement in Habersham County is investigating reports that several moving vehicles were fired upon and struck as they traveled through the county Monday night.

The Habersham County Sheriff’s Office is investigating reports that three vehicles had windows shot out while in motion between 5:30 and 7 p.m.

Sheriff’s Lt. Matt Wurtz said investigators have little information to release at this time.

One incident occurred near Burger King in Cornelia, and the other two occurred around Mt. Airy.

Cornelia Police Department also is investigating an incident of the same type in the area of Wayside Street and Level Grove Road.
