Latest Numbers Reflect Less Cases of Covid-19 in Stephens

The latest report from the Georgia Department of Public Health shows Stephens County with three less positive cases of the virus since the report on Sunday.

The latest report has Stephens County with 1,055 positive cases of the virus since the beginning of the global pandemic, and 38 deaths related to the virus.

The latest report was released Monday afternoon.

DPH is still reporting Habersham County with 67 deaths, and now one less case with 1,639 total positive cases of the virus.

In other neighboring counties, Rabun County is still reporting 9 deaths and 340 cases, Hart County has had 13 deaths and now 510 cases, Banks County is reporting 8 deaths and 484 cases, and Franklin County’s numbers remain unchanged with 753 cases and 13 deaths.

Across the state of Georgia, the Department of Public Health is now reporting a total of 315,281 cases, of those, 28,197 have been hospitalized and 6,961 have died from complications of the virus.
