Latest DPH Report has Deaths in Franklin and Rabun

The Georgia Department of Public Health is still reporting 75 COVID-related deaths in Stephens County and now a total of 2,929 residents testing positive for the virus, since the beginning of the global pandemic.

The latest report has a death in Franklin County bringing the total to 41 and now 2,303 positive cases of the virus, and a death in Rabun County bringing the total to 39 and still 1,468 positive cases.

The latest report still has Habersham County with 143 deaths and now 4,586 positive cases of the virus.

In other neighboring counties, Hart County is now reporting 1,684 cases and 35 deaths, and Banks County is still reporting 33 deaths and now 1,595 cases.

According to the Georgia Department of Public Health, there were 1,089 positive cases of the virus across the state of Georgia bringing the total to 852,395, of those 150 were hospitalized bringing that total to 58,810 and the total death count due to complications of the virus has now risen 74 more to 16,607.
