Latest DPH Covid-19 Report

For the second straight day, the Georgia Department of Public Health is reporting a much slower rate of Covid-19 cases and deaths.

The latest report from the Georgia Department of Public Health has Stephens County with 1,216 positive cases of the virus since the beginning of the global pandemic, and 41 deaths related to the virus.

The latest report was released Tuesday afternoon.

DPH is reporting Habersham County with 72 deaths, and now 1,783 total positive cases of the virus.

In other neighboring counties, DPH is now reporting 16 deaths in Hart County and still 547 cases, Rabun County is still reporting 11 deaths and 402 cases, Banks County is reporting 8 deaths and 528 cases, and Franklin County with 814 total positive cases and 16 deaths.

Across the state of Georgia, the Department of Public Health is now reporting a total of 333,304 cases, of those, 29,762 have been hospitalized and 7,454 have died from complications of the virus.
