Late night shooting under investigation

Authorities are investigating a shooting that occurred Wednesday night around 10:45 p.m.

When officers approached the scene on Prather Bridge Road, in Toccoa, near Willowdale

three males armed with guns fled when the officer arrived.

This is the fifth shooting that has occurred in the city of Toccoa in the past three months.

The previous shooting, that took place was in the early morning of Sept. 23, on Argo and Sautee Sts, remains under investigation.
