Last Day for 2023 Summer Movie Series at The Ritz
The 2023 Summer movie series at the historic Ritz Theatre in Toccoa comes to a close today with two showings of Thor:Love and Thunder at 10 A.M. and 7 P.M.
Toccoa Main Street Events Coordinator Misty Richardson says this year’s series has been well attended. “It has gone really well. We haven’t had any attendance under 100 per show. In previous years, we have had under 100 and then some massive shows. So, it has been about on par, but not below 100 for any show this year.”
In Thor:Love and Thunder, Thor embarks on a journey unlike anything he’s ever faced-a quest for inner peace. Richardson says that the movie is “more of a family film with action and a lot of fun.”
Again, the movie and concessions are just $1 each and tickets are available at the box office this morning and tonight.
Though this is the final show in the series Richardson says that there are two additional movies at the Ritz connected to other events. Minions-The Rise of Gru will be shown tomorrow night in connection to the Back to School Bash, and The Princess and the Frog will be featured on August 4th at 7 P.M. during the sip-n-stroll Masquerade on Main.
