Lady Indians fall to North Hall, 2-1

Both teams were strong on the mound Tuesday, but North Hall was just a little bit stronger at the plate in a 2 to 1 victory over the Stephens County Lady Indians in high school softball.

Allie Huff started the game for Stephens County and recorded 13 outs.

She lasted four and a third innings, allowing one hit and two runs while striking out three.

Emma Whitfield threw one and two-thirds innings in relief.

The Lady Indians lost despite out-hitting North Hall seven to two.

Emma Whitfield, Kayley Sellers, and Laney McGee each collected two hits to lead Stephens County.

The Lady Indians’ record drops to 6 & 6 overall, and they will be back in action Thursday as they host North Oconee in a region game at the Reservation—the J-V will play at 4:30 followed by the varsity game at 6:30.
