Joyce Elaine Pulliam Jamison

Joyce Elaine Pulliam Jamison, age 70, of Toccoa passed away Monday, August 9, 2021 at her home.

Born September 12, 1950 in Toccoa, she was the daughter of the late Leroy and Della Collins Pulliam.

She was a member of Gateway Community Chapel and was a beloved mother, mimi, wife, daughter, sister, and friend.

Family members include her daughters and sons-in-law, Tonya and Shane Hopper, Jodi and Matt Plaisted, and Laci and Jack Carlson all of Toccoa; grandchildren, Hunter Plaisted, Emma Hopper, Josie Plaisted, Ca’Rin Carlson and Jack Carlson; brothers and sister-in-law,  Richard and Linda Pulliam and Barry and Renee Pulliam; sister-in-law, Bette Jamison Parker.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Tommy Clenton Jamison; her sister-in-law, Claudine Jamison Bell; and a brother-in-law, Jimmy Jamison.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 3pm – 5pm Wednesday, August 11, 2021.

Funeral services will be held at five o’clock Wednesday, August 11, 2021 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with the Rev. Don Scott officiating.

Burial will follow at Stephens Memorial Gardens.

Shane Hopper, Matt Plaisted, Jack Carlson, Richard Pulliam, Barry Pulliam, Hunter Plaisted and Josh Parker, will serve as pallbearers.

Flowers are optional.  Those desiring may make memorial donations to the Gateway Community Chapel, 2600 Hwy 17 Alt., Toccoa, GA 30577.
