Innaugural Chocolate Crawl Happens Tonight

Toccoa’s inaugural Chocolate Crawl, held in conjunction with the city’s annual Sip & Stroll, takes place this evening, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in downtown Toccoa.

Chocolate lovers can look forward to exploring 20 participating businesses with sweet stops, sales and specials. Admission to the event is free, and attendees have a chance to win prizes in the Chocolate Crawl Bingo.

To participate in the Bingo game, attendees can purchase a Chocolate Crawl Bingo Card at the Toccoa Event Booth at the event, and take that Card to participating shops, where they will have the card stamped. Once the Bingo card has a complete row of stamps, they can collect a chocolate bar. Inside five of the chocolate bars that will be handed out is a Golden Ticket for a prize package that includes a $50 Downtown Dollar gift card, a half dozen roses from Downtown Flowers, a $25 gift certificate from Currahee Outdoors, a $15 gift certificate from White Tulip Naturals, and more. One chocolate bar will contain the ticket for the grand prize, which is a private movie night at the Historic Ritz Theatre for up to 35 people.

For those who do not wish to purchase the $5 bingo card, participating shops will also be giving out the chocolate bars to the first 25 shoppers in each business that spend $35 or more.

The event will take place rain or shine. For more information, call Richardson at (706) 282-3309.
