Indians travel to face Athens Academy today in high school football

After playing their first two games of the season at home, the Stephens County Indians will be on the road for the first time tonight as they take on Athens Academy in high school football action.

Last week, the Indians lost to Hart County, 26 to 13, to even their record at 1 & 1 on the season.

Last night on the Crunch Time radio show, Indians defensive line coach Brad Whitfield said Athens Academy has an advantage since they have had extra time to prepare for tonight’s game.

Coverage on the 93.1 FM and AM 630 WNEG starts at 6:30 p.m. with the Indian Road Show. Coach’s Corner starts at 7 p.m. and pre-game coverage starts at 7:15 p.m.
