Indians Tennis Teams Roll on Senior Recognition Day
On Tuesday, the Stephens County High School tennis teams hosted region rival Franklin County at the Stephen County Tennis Complex. The Indians & Lady Indians won 9 out of 10 matches.
The Lady Indians swept all 3 singles contests and both doubles to win the match 5-0. The Lady Indians improved their overall season record to 5-3 and 3-2 in region-8 play.
The Indians won by a match score of 4-1 by winning both doubles matches and 2 of the 3 singles matches. The Indians improved their overall record to 6-2 and 4-1 in the region.
It was also senior recognition day for the tennis seniors. Tenley Boyd, Abby Whitfield, Walker Terrell, and Levi Spencer were recognized prior to the matches.
