Indians Tennis Represented Well on All-Region Team

The Stephens County High School Indians and Lady Indians were well represented in the recent 8-AAA All-Region Tennis selections.  The SCHS tennis program had 8 players receive the region honors.

The Indian boy’s doubles team of Gavin Wilkinson and Clayton Jones made 1st Team All-Region.

Lady Indians singles player Tenley Boyd made 1^st Team All-Region; singles player Fayeth Ivester made 2nd Team; doubles team of Abby Whitfield and Maddie McGee made 2^nd Team; and doubles team of Kara Jones and Laura Sanders were Honorable Mention.

This is the third consecutive season that Tenley Boyd and Abby Whitfield have made the 8-AAA All-Region Tennis Teams.  Tenley had previously made All-Region in doubles for the Lady Indians but made All-Region in singles this season.  Abby Whitfield has made All-Region as a double’s player for all 3 years.
