Indians Take Big Home Win over Rabun

Nick Randall gave up just two hits Saturday afternoon as the Stephens County Indians baseball team defeated the Rabun County Wildcats 7 to 3 at the Reservation.

Rabun County scored first, plating three runs in the top of the second inning on a couple of errors.

The Indians answered in the bottom half of the inning, scoring four runs on four hits. Dylan White, William Roush and Nick Randall each picked up an RBI.

Colby Fowler was responsible for the next two RBI’s with doubles in both the fifth and sixth innings.

Elvis Hunt knocked in two RBIs for the Wildcats in the second inning.

Randall was superb in his outing, striking out 10 and walking just one. Starter Parker Smith took the loss for Rabun County.

The Indians are now 6-1 on the season while Rabun County dropped to 2-2.

The Indians are at home again Monday afternoon at 5:30 when they host Elbert County. Game time is 5:30PM and air time on WNEG will be 5:20PM.
