Indians Split at East Hall

The Stephens County Lady Indians basketball team followed up their impressive Region-8 win over Madison County on Friday with a road victory over non-region opponent East Hall on Saturday 55-45.

Na Na Eades led the Lady Indians with 19 points, including 9 out of 10 from the free throw line.

Stephens County improves to 8-3 overall and 1-0 in the region.

Saturday night did not go as well as Friday for the Stephens County boys basketball team

as they lost a close game at East Hall 41-39.

Kenny Colwell led the Indians with 16 points.

Stephens County falls to 4-7 overall and 1-0 in Region-8 play.

Stephens County will continue non-region play on Tuesday when they travel to face Habersham Central. Airtime is set for 5:45 P.M. with girls tip-off at 6 P.M., and the boys to follow on 93.1 FM and AM-630 WNEG, and at wnegradio.com.
