Indians Run Rule Rabun

Every player on the Stephens County Indians baseball roster got to bat Tuesday
evening as the Indians rolled to a 10-0 victory over the Rabun County Wildcats in
six innings.

Caiden Sweat hit a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the sixth inning to
drive in the final run to give the Indians their third win of the season.

Eight different players had RBIs in the game. Craig Thurmond, Colby Fowler, Findley
Ward, Tyler Zigan, Caiden Sweat, William Roush, Ismael Matias and Nate Ivester
all drove in runs with either hits, sacrifice flies or bases loaded walks.

The Indians sent 11 men to the plate in the bottom of the second inning scoring
eight runs. They added single runs in the fifth and sixth inning.

Noah Holbrooks went four and 1/3 innings Tuesday night, allowing no runs on
two hits and striking out five.

Hayden Scott finished out the game, allowing no hits and striking out three.

Sophomore Reid Giles took the loss as the starter for Rabun County, now 0-3 on
the season.

Stephens County’s next game will tonight at Chestatee at 6 P.M. WNEG will not be broadcast due to the Indians basketball team playing in the state
tournament game this evening.

The next baseball broadcast will be Thursday at 5:30PM when the Indians host the Banks County Leopards. Airtime on Thursday will be 5:20 P.M.
