Indians Rout Razorbacks in Final Road Game

The Stephens County Indians displayed solid hitting and pitching and steady defense to rout Walhalla 10-0 in five innings Wednesday night in Walhalla.

The Indians scored in every inning with 11 hits including five doubles. Findley Ward and Nate Ivester had 2 RBI’s each, and Colby Fowler, William Roush, Konnor Loudermilk, Tyler Zigan, and Landon Carter added RBI’s.

Ward was outstanding on the mound with a complete game shutout while allowing only one hit. The Indians’ defense was flawless behind Ward.

The Razorbacks, now 9-11 on the season, committed four errors in the game.

It was the final road game of the season for Stephens County, now with an overall record of 11-17, and the Indians regular season finale will be Thursday when they host Seneca, with first pitch scheduled for 6 P.M. and airtime 5:45 P.M. on WNEG.
