Indians Roll over Rabun County
The Stephens County Indians dominated the line of scrimmage and used big plays to shutout the highly ranked Rabun County Wildcats 35-0 Friday night at the Reservation in Toccoa.
After a scoreless 1st quarter, Stephens County took advantage of two Jasec Smith interceptions and took to the air for two scores. Tripp Underwood connected with Da’von Swinton for a 33-yard TD pass and followed that by connecting with Devin Cobb for six more.
The Indians ground game churned out 353 yards with Javin Gordon rushing for 196 yards and Omari Feaster adding 148 more. Feaster had two touchdown runs of 83 and 1 yd. In the 2nd half and Gordon added a 3-yard run.
Rabun County, held to just 125 yds. Of total offense falls to 1-1 on the season Stephens County improves to 2-0 and will travel to 2-0 Flowery Branch next Friday night.
