Indians play Titans, tonight at North Oconee

The Stephens County Indians football team will try to wrap up the regular season with a win on the road tonight as they travel to Bogart to take on the North Oconee Titans.  Last Friday night, the Indians were close to defeating previously number 3 rated Jefferson, but came up a little short in the 27 to 24 loss at The Reservation.

The Indians are 4 & 5 overall on the year and 1 & 3 in Region 8-AAAA.  North Oconee is 1 & 8 on the season and winless in the Region.

Last night on the Crunch Time Radio Show, Stephens County Running Backs Coach Brannon Hulsey said the Indians preparation for this final regular season game has gone well this week:

Kick-off from North Oconee High School is set for 7:30 p.m. tonight.  Coverage begins at 6:30 p.m. on 93.1 FM and AM-630 WNEG with the Indian Road Show.  Coach’s Corner starts at 7 p.m. and pre-game coverage from North Oconee gets underway at 7:15 p.m. You can also listen to Indian football online at wnegradio.com.

In other Region 8-AAAA action tonight, Oconee County travels to Jefferson and Madison County host St. Pius.

Elsewhere around the area, Franklin County host Monroe Area, Hart County host East Jackson, Banks County host Elbert County, Rabun County host Monticello, and Habersham Central is on the road at Apalachee.
