Another no-hitter for Stephens County pitching!

Following Nick Randall’s 6-inning no hitter Monday night against East Jackson, Senior Garrett Pless tossed a four-inning no-hitter Thursday night as the Indian clobbered the Johnson Knights 17-0.

Ben Stowe had a big night with seven RBI’s including a game ending grand slam home-run
in the bottom of the fourth inning. Stowe had homered earlier in the Indians 11- run first inning.

Craig Thurmond started the bottom of the 1st for Stephens County by hitting a home run to left-center field. Dylan White, William Roush, Landen Carter, Nick Randall and Ethan Smith all had RBI’s.

On the mound, Pless was on target, striking out 8 hitters while walking only three. Caleb Garmen took the loss for Johnson, who was playing their first game of the season.

Stephens County is now 2-0 on the young season.

Next up for Stephens County is the three-team doubleheader at Habersham Central Saturday with the Indians facing the Banks County Leopards at 2 P.M. and Habersham Central at 5 P.M. Habersham Central will face Banks County at 11 A.M.
