Indians J-V Football team beats Elbert County, 23-21

The Stephens County Indians J-V football team had to come from behind, but they remained undefeated with a 23 to 21 home win over Elbert County last night.

The Indians committed 4 turnovers in the first half that helped Elbert County to a 14 to 2 halftime lead.

Stephens County scored a touchdown in the third quarter, then took the lead in the fourth quarter, 23 to 14 with about 4 minutes to go in the game and held on for the 2-point victory.

The Indians are now 5 & 0 and will travel to White County next Thursday.
