Indians Fall to Bobcats in Season Finale

The Seneca Bobcats defeated the Stephens County Indians 7-2 Thursday night at
the Reservation in the final game of the year for the Indians.

Sophomore William Cutshall allowed just five hits and struck out 7 in five innings
of work for the Bobcats. Konnor Loudermilk started for Stephens County and
gave up four runs in four innings to take the loss. The Indians scored a run in the
bottom of the first inning and their final run in the bottom of the seventh inning.
Seneca scored two runs in the top of the first, two more in the second inning and
their three runs in the top of the seventh.

Stephens County wraps up the season at 11-18 and 3-12 in Region 8-AAA
competition. Seneca is now 12-6 on the season.

William Cutshall, Joey McGovern and Kaden Scruggs each had two RBIs for the
Bobcats. Tyler Zigan knocked in a run in the 7th for Stephens County.

Six seniors finished their high school baseball careers on Thursday. They were
William Roush, Nate Ivester, Caiden Sweat, Craig Thurmond, Colby Fowler and
Ethan Smith.
