Indians Basketball Wraps Up Regular Season Tonight
The Stephens County Indians basketball teams will wrap up the regular season tonight at Currahee Arena. The Indians will host Hebron Christian with the girls game beginning at 6 p.m. and the boys game to follow. Both Lions teams have already clinched the #1 seed in next week’s region-8 tournament and a spot in the AAA state playoffs.
Both Indians teams will enter the region tournament on Monday as #5 seeds and will face the #4 seeds with the opponent and location still to be determined. The Lady Indians will play at 3:30 p.m. on Monday with the Indian boys scheduled to take the court after at approximately 5 p.m.
If the Stephens County teams win on Monday they would advance to the region semi-final and earn a spot in the state playoffs. The region semi-final and finals will be played at Currahee Arena on the campus of Stephens County High School.
