Indian Baseball Falls To Banks Co.

The Banks County Leopards beat the Stephens County Indians in baseball at the Reservation Saturday night, 6-3.

Saturday’s win gives Banks County a two-game sweep this year of Stephens County on the diamond.

Senior Dylan Patrick kept the Indians off-balance for 6 1/3 innings, allowing just eight hits and striking out five.

Kooper Briley knocked in two runs for the Indians with a single and a double, while the third run came in on a wild pitch.

Stephens County drops to 2-4 on the season with the loss.

The Indians travel to Rabun County today for a non-region baseball game.

First pitch today is at 5:30 pm.
