Homeland Security will use drones at Stephens County Schools today to update County Crisis Plan

Don’t be alarmed if you see multiple Homeland Security Vehicles on the campuses of Stephens County Schools today.

According to Stephens County School System’s Director of Human Resources John Stith, the school system is working to update its County Crisis Plan.

He says, Homeland Security will be at the schools across the district, today, using drone technology to film the schools to help update the county maps.

Stith stressed that they are just there for the drone footage and that you shouldn’t be alarmed.
