Historic Stephens County Courthouse implements preventative measures against COVID-19

The Historic Stephens County Courthouse is officially is taking preventative measures to protect against the spread of the coronavirus.

According to Stephens County Administrator Phyllis Ayers no one, except for county employees, will gain entrance to the building’s offices, out of caution to reduce the risk for employees to contract the Coronavirus.

However, anyone needing to access the courthouse can still communicate with county staff through the teller’s window directly inside the Historic Courthouse’s entrance.

The Historic Courthouse will continue to operate as normal until further notice.

For questions regarding this preventative measure contact County Clerk Beth Rider by calling 706-886-9491.
