Heritage Falls coming to the Ritz this Thursday

The 2023 “Fall Into the Ritz ” movie series continues this Thursday, October 19, with showings of “Heritage Falls.”

The 2023 Fall Into The Rtiz” series puts the spotlight on Stephens County with a lineup of Toccoa-filmed features. The first film of the series was “County Line,” which was shown on Sept. 21.

“Heritage Falls” was filmed in 2016, primarily in Stephens County. Places in the film include downtown Toccoa, Stephens County High School, Camp Mikell, Toccoa Falls, and Trembly Bald, to name some.

Produced by INSP Films, “Heritage Falls” is a dramatic comedy that follows three generations of headstrong males as they venture into the American wilderness for a rugged weekend excursion. The movie stars David Keith, Coby Ryan McLaughlin, and Keean Johnson.

All Fall Into the Ritz movies are shown at 10 a.m. and again at 7 p.m. at the Historic Ritz Theatre, 166 W. Doyle Street in downtown Toccoa. Admission for all showings is free. 

The third and final movie in the series When Last We Spoke, which will play on November 16.
