Heart Center of Northeast Georgia Welcomes New Cardiologist

The Heart Center of Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville welcomes a new cardiologist.

On Monday, Dr. Sudhakar Chennareddy, officially joined the practice and is accepting patients at the Gainesville, Toccoa and Demorest locations.

“The Heart Center of NGMC brings expert heart care close to home, and I’m excited to be a part of the cardiology practice that so many people in Northeast Georgia have come to trust,” said Dr. Chennareddy. “Patients needing the highest level of heart care receive it at The Heart Center of NGMC, and I look forward to offering the same great services.”

Dr. Chennareddy received his medical degree from Rangaraya Medical College in India.

He completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, where he also completed a fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine.

Dr. Chennareddy also completed a fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at the University of Alabama Medical School hospitals in Birmingham, Ala.

He is board-certified in Interventional Cardiology and Cardiovascular Disease, and has presented and published reports on a variety of medical topics.

Dr. Chennareddy tells WNEG News he is excited to be part of the Heart Center at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

The Heart Center of Northeast Georgia Medical Center is the largest cardiology practice in the region, with more than 30 physicians seeing patients at 14 locations throughout Northeast Georgia, including Clayton, Commerce, Dahlonega, Demorest, Gainesville, Lavonia, Toccoa and Winder.
