The man believed to be responsible for stabbing a Toccoa pair and kidnapping and murdering his wife has been indicted on several charges.

Stephens County Grand Jury indicted Kenton Deshaun Hall, last week, on charges of kidnapping, two counts of aggravated assault, felony murder, and malice murder.

According to the indictment, the incident took place on September 23, 2019.

Authorities say Hall stabbed 64-year-old Robert Maxwell and 66-year-old Nancy Johnson, before kidnapping and murdering his wife 49-year-old Patricia Hall.

The pair tried to protect Patricia Hall from her husband after the Halls had an argument earlier in the day; however, he tracked her down at Maxwell and Johnson’s residence where the stabbing occurred.

The body of Patricia Hall was discovered in a heavily wooded area off of East Franklin Street, on Tuesday, September 24, 2019.

At the time of the incident, Hall eluded law enforcement, search dogs, and a heat-seeking helicopter for about 18-hours.

The search came to an end, after someone called 911 after recognizing the murder suspect near a factory on Spring Street West.

When officers arrived on scene, Kenton Hall was armed with a knife. During this encounter, one of the officers fired twice at Hall, striking him once.
